Rapper ‘The Game’ has been involved in a legal battle for the past two years involving the woman who claims he sexually assaulted her while she was on his VH1 reality show “She’s Got Game”. Priscilla Rainey won a $7 million judgment from him, but Game was not trying to cough up his coins. He went on to sue Viacom in 2017 and demanded that they be held liable for the judgement.
Game argued that Viacom cast Rainey on the show knowing that she had multiple arrests for felony battery and that she allegedly suffered from mental health issues. Unfortunately, it looks like he’s lost this battle too. Court documents show that the judge sided with Viacom in that they were not liable for the $7.1 million judgement and that the case should be dismissed. The Judge ruled that Viacom’s decision to cast Rainey was an exercise of free speech. The judge also denied ‘The Game’ an opportunity to amend his complaint.
