Police boss resuscitates security, synergy at ports

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Eastern Ports Command AIG Abdulmajid Ali has commenced assiduous efforts to rekindle effective policing via multi agency collaboration at the ports under his command . 
In his moves to reach out to relevants stakeholders and security agencies in his command, the police boss visited the General Officer commanding  6 Div of the Nigeria Army, Major General Jamil Sarham and the Commander NNS Pathfinder of the Nigerian Navy, Commodore SJ Bura on Wednesday 14th November 2018 at their bases respectively to resuscitate synergy and effective policing of the ports with a view to ameliorating insecurity at the ports and in Nigeria at large. 
The Assistant Inspector General of Police reiterated his commitment to boost the core values of community policing and strengthen and/ cementing the already existing synergy amongst security agencies to make Nigerian economy viable through secured ports as the Eastern Ports Command has recently been upgraded to a zonal status by the IGP Ibrahim Idris and AIG Ali happens to be the pioneer AIG who will leave no stone unturned to tackle sea pirates and robbers.
In their respective  responses,  the military  commanders  appreciated the police boss for creating time to visit and introduce inter-agencies evaluation and solidification of cross-fertilised ideas towards adequate security of our nation. 
The GOC and NNS Pathfinder Commander  however assured reciprocity of the AIG Abdulmajid Ali’s hand of love and professionalism in policing the ports to bring back lives into ports economic drive of the Federal government of Nigeria.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police Eastern Ports Command AIG Abdulmajid Ali has warned the criminals in the area to steer clear of the sea and government economic installations and private businesses as he will not tolerate any act of criminality, either piracy or robbery or crimes of any kind  in the area henceforth.
