Celebrated reggae and dancehall artiste, Samini, christened Emmamuel Andrews Samini, has trashed claims by certain individuals that he is irrelevant and has no decisive effect in Ghana’s music industry now.
The ‘Obaa’ hitmaker in a conversation with Lexis Bill on Joy FM’s Behind the Fame show stated unequivocally the apprehension that his career is going down the drain is a deceitful.
According to him, he’s not been focusing on his music career due to the fact of concentrating on other businesses.
“I was doing other things so my concentration shifted. My focus did not shift because I was broke, I had a different focus at the time,” he told Lexis.
The artist is billed to release a reggae-filled album in December along with the Saminifest.
He has not announced the title of the album yet.
